Both a yogic practice and guided meditation, Yoga Nidra is known as “yogic sleep” or “effortless relaxation”. The term yoga means union. During a Yoga Nidra Class, the intention is to help you unite with your deepest state of relaxation and blissful awareness as I guide you through several layers of your energetic being. As you drift to that place of being between asleep and awake your mind and body are open and receptive to profound physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual healing.
If attending in person, be sure to bring a yoga mat, light blanket, pillow and eye covering if desired, and props if needed. This class will be done laying down on your back for maximum relaxation. If that is not comfortable, you may lay or sit in whatever position is most comfortable.
